Floyd Mayweather Jr may be a lot of things to a lot of people, but one thing he is certain he is not is a racist. There has been outrage by some over comments made by Mayweather Jr. that "white boys" can't box and that's why they prefer the UFC over boxing.

To most observers, Mayweather Jr. certainly is not a racist, but many may feel challenged to call him one over what Mayweather Jr. considers is brutal honesty.

In a recent interview conducted by Bossip, Mayweather Jr. further explained his "White boy" comments.

In regards to his "white boy" comments, Mayweather Jr. tells the publication: "First off, let Floyd start off by saying…”I-am-not-racist.” Secondly, what I said is the truth. Whites boys can’t box right now. All the best fighters are Latin or Black. We dominate the sport of boxing."

Mayweather Jr. went on to diss the sport of MMA by restating: "MMA is for beer bellied bar brawlers who don’t care about brain damage and technique. Sorry Bossip, I call a spade a spade. The great white hype theory is true…"

Floyd Mayweather Jr. returns to action on September 19, 2009 at MGM Grand Arena to face off against Juan Manuel Marquez.
