In recent quotes sent to us here at Doghouse Boxing, Floyd Mayweather Jr. discussed his upcoming match-up with Mexican fighter, Marquez.

In regards to his training with his long time trainer Roger Mayweather (also his uncle), Mayweather Jr. stated that his uncle watches all the tapes on Marquez but does not tell him how to defeat Marquez. "Roger watches all of the tapes, but Roger doesn't tell me how I am going to beat him (Marquez)," states Mayweather Jr.

Mayweather Jr. went on to explain why Roger doesn't tell him how to defeat Marquez. Roger strongly believes in his nephew's talents. "He says to me that I just need to fight and adapt. And if I ask him, 'How am I going to do that?' Roger responds, 'because you are great,' stated Floyd Mayweather Jr.
