Arthur Abraham on Floyd Mayweather Jr, Oscar De La Hoya and Sugar Ray Leonard

Arthur Abraham vs Jermain Taylor kicks off SHOWTIME's Super Six World Boxing Classic starting this month on Oct 17th. The fight takes place in Berlin, Germany. With Berlin as the location, Abraham (30-0, 24 KO) has the home advantage.

In a recent teleconference, Abraham spoke on what drives him. Arthur thinks America is a great country and is driven to land a big fight on US soil. "A big fight in America is what drives me, it’s a great country," stated Abraham.

Arthur believes the SHOWTIME tournament will help him achieve his goals, which consists of landing a big fight in the US and emulating champions such as Floyd Mayweather Jr., Oscar De La Hoya and Sugar Ray Leonard. "It’s a lot of hard work to get a big fight in America and become a champion like Sugar Ray Leonard, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Oscar De La Hoya. It’s my goal to make big fights and I think this tournament will help me," stated Arthur.
