IBF junior welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi is set to head out to Vero Beach, Florida to meet with trainer Buddy Mcgirt this Saturday. He will begin training for his upcoming rematch with former champion Lovemore ‘Black Panther’ Ndou. Paulie took the IBF strap from Ndou back in June of 2007 scoring a points win in dominating fashion on HBO's Boxing After Dark. Now Malignaggi is set to defend it May 24th on the undercard of the comeback fight for Ricky Hatton. The bout will take place in Manchester City Soccer stadium and has reportedly sold almost all 55,000 seats.

After training camp begins in Vero Beach, Paulie will then pack his bags and head to Sicaly to finish off his training camp with his team. He will be heading to Sicily a couple of weeks before the fight to get adjusted to the six-hour differential. Rumor has it if both fighters are successful in their next fights that Malignaggi-Hatton will take place in the fall at Madison Square Garden. Tune in to the VERSUS network to view Hatton-Lazcano, and Malignaggi-Ndou. Both bouts will AIR around 4 PM Eastern time.

Frank Maloney Promotions looks forward to a massive spring schedule after it's highly successful winter campaign kicked off 2008 in style.
