UFC 100 Pay-Per-View Numbers
By Kyle Lucas (July 24, 2009) DoghouseBoxing
For whatever reason(s), UFC does not publish their Pay-Per-View numbers for their events. However for the UFC 100, it looks as if the final number of Pay-Per-View buys is over 1.5 million.
According to a report out by Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports, the PPV sales for UFC 100 were in excess of 1.5 million! With over 1.5 million buys... UFC 100 which featured Brock Lesnar vs Frank Mir as the main event, certainly lived up to the hype and beyond.
In Iole's reporting, he writes: "UFC 100 was available in more than 300 million homes in 17 languages. While the UFC has a company policy of not disclosing exact pay-per-view figures, the sales for UFC 100 were in excess of 1.5 million, making it one of the most-watched PPV events in history.".
