Just two months after his last triumph, Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz will be returning to the ring October 19 at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado, on the undercard of the Mike Alvarado-Ruslan Provodnikov extravaganza.
The Baby Bull is sticking to his word and fighting often, this being his third fight this year on his comeback trail. In April, he walked through Pipino Cuevas Jr. in Corpus Christi, Texas, and then did the same August 17 in Laredo, Texas, against hapless Adailton De Jesus.
The fight is on a Top Rank promoted card, so it’s difficult to see the Texas showdown against Omar Figueroa that Richard Schaefer was touting in the immediate future.
If all goes well, Diaz hopes to get a big fight in early 2014.
