STRAIGHT OUT PROMOTIONS SIGNS
WBO WORLD CHAMPION DANIEL SANTOS
Oct 25, 2003

Promoter Chris A. Webb/Straight Out Promotions recently signed World Boxing Organization jr. middleweight world champion Daniel Santos to a promotional contract.

Chris said today, "We're looking forward to working with Daniel. He's one of the most talented boxers in one of the hottest weight divisions in the sport and there's a lot of opportunities for him. He's been training here in the U.S. and is getting ready to fight in January. He's focused and looking good in the gym.

"Daniel is getting ready to take on any of the big names in the division. Representatives of Raul Marquez showed interest in the fight in the last couple of days. We would love to fight him. We've also had some conversations with Fernando Vargas' people. Winky Wright says no one will fight him, but Daniel will."
